This darling buff colored DSH kitten was found under the hood of a car, stuck in the engine block. Yikes! No injuries were sustained and this kitten is really a sweetie. All age-appropriate veterinary care has been completed.

This little puppy was also rescued from the same shelter where Emma and Mikey came from. Ellie is a shep mixed with a small breed. Cute as can be!

1 year old male Havanese. Adorable! Came to HVHS completely matted and needed a full shave. Once his coat comes in he will be out of control cute. Has the most adorable underbite :o)

"Farfalle" is the calico (female) and she has been adopted!."Rigatoni" is the orange/buff (male); and "Linguini" is the orange and white (male) kitten. Just 4 weeks old will be ready to go home in a few weeks.

This is a lovely calico who has retired from having kittens and is looking for a permanent home. She has been tested and brought up-to-date on shots. This girl is very affectionate and would love a home to call her own.

Well hi there! I'm Louisa and I'm a 1 1/2 year old female beagle mix, about 25 pounds. Here is another dog we rescued from a municipal shelter in Tennessee. I was a stray and from the looks of her she lost weight while roaming homeless. This is a nice girl who will make a great, lovable companion. All age appropriate vet care has been administered. Louisa and her other buddies from Tennessee are scheduled to arrive mid July.

Congratulations Bolt, you have been adopted! This is a handsome mixed breed boy the HVHS saved from a municipal kill shelter in Tennessee. He is approximately 1 1/2 years old. The volunteers we coordinated this rescue with say that he is kind, affectionate and mild mannered.
