This sweet calico was found by one of the veterinary assistants at our vet hospital. She is "negative" for FIV/AIDS/LEUK and ready for adoption. This little girl is perhaps 7-9 weeks of age.

Also found stray and, we presume, the mom to the other female Chi now up for adoption. This girl is mostly white coated with black patches. Very scared, but if you put a leash on her she cozies up very quickly. Best for an adult household.

5 month old purebred Shiba Inu, male. Adorable. Lovely disposition. Shiba's are great companion animals and are very quiet. They will bark, but they are not big barkers at all.

These 2 boys are considered "Chiweenies" ... Dachshund ("weenie") and Chihuahua ("Chi") mixes. They were abandoned in rural Kentucky and rescued by wonderful local residents who strive to protect abandoned animals there. We, the HVHS, partner with our Kentucky friends and help bring these animals to New York for permanent adoption. If you are looking for cute, compact and adorable, yet excellent watchdogs and companion animals .... look no further.
