Most recently a Mallard Duck had a hook in his wing. The HVHS was able to get him to the vet and then provide the 3+ weeks of aftercare so he could heal and return to the pond. What we learned is that this pond really needs some help so the wildlife can live safely. Are you available for a few hours on Sat., Oct. 6th to help us rake and do a general clean up of the area? If so please fill out the volunteer form which can be found on our homepage. Thank you!
